the Tao of Church Life

By being a member instead of a leader, I create an opportunity for someone else to lead.

By taking a break from serving, I create a vacuum for someone else to step out and serve.

By sitting in the audience, I allow you the privilege of preaching to me.

By being on the fringes, I give you the opportunity to be in the center.

And by telling you that this song is repetitious, I help you find original ways to worship.

I get the paradox. And I choose not to fear it.
