Rental Car # 3

So I'm now on rental car # 3. The first one had a stale smoke smell (think old motel rooms) and when I turned on the air it blew dust, leaf pieces and what looked like shaved beard hairs out at me. Double EW. The second one was nice, a 2003 Lancer, but when I got home (1 mile away) I already had a flat. I guess the person who rented before me had filled it up just long enough to get it turned in. Classy. My condolences to Paul, the man who had to come change my tire at 7 at night. So the 3rd car is a 2003 Sentra which so far has had no problems. I have spent more time at the Enterprise office than the employees who work there.

I have come to truly appreciate that good customer service cannot be duplicated. After all this I wanted to scream at the woman who kept implying it was MY fault the car's weren't working out and that I must have parked them on something to give them flat tires. Blah. Oh, well. I'm riding in comfort now. Adios mis amigos.

A rolling billboard I read today: Un pedacito de Mexico.
